Our School Holiday Workshops take place in our bright and airy backyard studio located at Penshurst.
All School Holiday Workshops are Facilitated by Shelley, the owner of the Young Explorers shop. Shelley has a Bachelor degree in Design and is currently a print designer and art teacher.

$25 per class for group booking of 2+kids or 2+classes

The Young Explorers Creative Studio runs classes over the school holidays for children aged 5 to 10 in a studio setting. Each class is 2 hours in duration.
Each interactive class is designed to inspire young artists focussing on artistic skills and techniques, creative thinking and development. Under the guidance of the tutor Shelley who is also a designer.
HOW TO ENROL AND PAY
All of our school holiday art classes have limited places available and by appointment only, so booking and payment is essential to secure a spot.

- Your enrolment is not confirmed until payment has been received.
- Payments via bank transfer or in person.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Should a class have to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances by the tutor, any student enrolled in that class will be contacted and an alternative class or full class refund will be arranged.
Fees are otherwise non-refundable. Credit will be applied to be used for future classes or products if you cancel or miss a class. Please notify the tutor prior if there will be any changes.
From time to time we take photos during class of students and artworks. These photos are used for promotional purposes such as press advertising, brochures, social media, editorials and website. Should you not wish for us to take and use photos of you, your child or their artwork please notify the tutor.
As we head into flu season, we ask that you please do not bring your child to the studio if:
- They are uncontrollably coughing (deep chesty phlegm cough and big dry cough)
- They have a high fever
- They have green phlegm from nose
- They have vomiting/diarrhoea within 24 hours of the class
- They are feeling nauseas
Please understand this policy is put into place so that our Studio can remain as safe and healthy as possible.
If your child happens to be sick, please let Shelley know ASAP by emailing her at email@example.com We can then arrange a credit or makeup session for your child.
