What is process art?
This means that the focus is on the experience of creating something and not just how the end product looks. We find that this is the best way for young children to learn and to be able to express themselves creatively.
Will my child always come home with artwork?
Yes, always! Our studio is a process-based studio meaning our focus is less on the final product and more on the process of creating. We always have painted papers, arts and craft projects.
Children will enjoy the painting and creating the product, but may not want to take the finished product home.
Sometimes the art is just in the experience!
Are the activities safe?
Yes. However, activities will involve paint, playdough, scissors, glue, etc - these products are non-toxic and child safe. Large combustion of paint will be unsafe. Parents and caretakers are asked to supervise the children under their care.
